On Monday 30th June, Leon Barnes will be joining Dunmow Art Group to teach us how to use oils. The classes with Leon run for a total of 4 weeks. Please note that all 4 weeks will be 3 hour sessions between 12pm and 3pm and will be held in Foakes Hall, Dunmow, CM6 1DG. Leon has provided the following recommended list to bring with you: Canvas or canvas board (white gesso primed 2-3 days before) 1” brush preferably a bob Ross type or artstudio 1” is ok 1x script liner 1x pallet knife 1x fanbrush bristle size 6 1x fan brush bristle size 3 1x flat or round filbert Paper towel roll Liquin original Stiff Paint like Windsor & Newton or bob ross Ross landscape Black (or burnt umber & ultra marine blue to make black) Alizarin crimson Titanium white Liquid white bob ross (or mix liquin original & titanium white) Don't forget to bring along your own mug for a cuppa! ☕️ The classes are open to all and are charged at just £1 for members and £5 for non members. 🎨
