UPDATE: this demonstration has been postponed due to illness; however, we will still be meeting in Foakes Hall between 1 pm and 3 pm. At Monday's class we will be experimenting and going totally abstract. Please bring the following: -Acrylic paint, water pot, board and a selection of brushes. -Decent thick watercolour paper at least A4 size, masking tape. -Anything you can make interesting marks with such as bubble wrap, loo roll holder, pieces of card, stencils, palette knives, old credit card, leaves, a bit of collage. -A fine liner pen and a few pastels. - You can also bring DIY paint tester pots. You're more than welcome to do your own work as this may not be for everyone. The idea is to experiment to see what can be achieved with different materials. It should be fun. Please remember to bring your own mugs.
