On Monday 7th October, our very own Tracey Ingram will be our tutor! Tracey has sent the following information: We shall be using acrylic paint to create a head & shoulder portrait of a horse. And you can use any colour palette of your choice. I shall be bringing with me some acrylic paint and some images we can use as a reference. If you could bring along the following: - Stretched Canvas, Canvas Panel or paper suitable for acrylic paint. (I shall be working with a 12 x 16 inch Canvas Panel on the day, but you can use the size of your choice) - Acrylic Paint (your choice of colour) - If you do not have any acrylic paint you are very welcome to use some of mine. - A selection of paint brushes  I look forward to seeing you on Monday, and don't forget to bring a mug for a cuppa.

It’s another lovely sunny day to pop into St Mary’s Church in Dunmow to have a look at the amazing art on offer from Dunmow Art Group at our Autumn Exhibition. The church is looking beautiful too with its stunning stained glass windows! The art sale, which includes work from a local photography club, pottery, cards, cushions and tea towels will also be held on Sunday at St Mary's Church in Great Dunmow open Sunday 6th October 1-4 Enjoy today's gallery - there is something for everyone…or better still, get over to St Mary’s Church and see them in person!

Yesterday was spent working on our own projects.  Some were finishing off the work from Nicy Gayle's classes others something new or cutting mounts for shows.
