An excellent and enjoyable session with Heather Miller doing trees in acrylics.  Below is a selection of works in progress. 

Only ONE week to go before we hold our Dunmow Art Group autumn exhibition in St Mary’s Church in Great Dunmow. Our exhibition will be open: Saturday 7th October 10am - 4pm and Sunday 8th October 12.30pm - 4pm. Entrance is free - there will be refreshments available and also a raffle. A variety of unique artwork, gifts and cards will be for sale.

What a fabulous evening watching David Pasfield paint this beautiful watercolour Autumn scene. An evening full of humour, inspiration and great advice. Thank you so much David! If you would like to join our friendly group, we meet in Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow every Monday during term times 1-3pm. Once a month we have a guest artist join us on a Wednesday evening to demonstrate their skills and techniques. #dunmowartgroup

We had the pleasure of painting Plein air in beautiful surroundings today and at last we were treated to some sunshine! ☀️ 🎨 If you fancy joining our friendly art group, we start again on the 1st September in Foakes Hall in Dunmow between 1pm and 3pm. 😊 (Dunmow Art Group)

 

We were spoilt for choice today when we visited Bardfield Vineyard/Anne of Cleves Barn for our Plein Air session. 🎨

 

Our second Plein air session this year - we had the pleasure of painting these beautiful alpacas!

 

The great British weather didn’t stop us today! ☔️ Our first Plein air painting session was great fun and even the sun ☀️ tried to make an appearance eventually! 🎨
