Highland Cows in Pastel with Kate MacLeod

This week's lesson was working in soft pastel with Kate MacLeod.  The subject for the initial lesson was a Highland Cow.

Debbie Goodman

Debbie is one of our newer members.  An active member of the group, she takes time to produce some beautiful paintings with painstaking detail such as the one below. Audrey Bowling

Audrey Bowling is a local mixed-media artist and active member of Dunmow Art Group.  Working mostly with collage and in an abstract style, she will be there throughout the show (look for the drop spindle - she sometimes uses the yarn she makes in her artworks) to discuss her art, including this one titled 'Sunrise'

Helen Williams

Helen Williams is an active member of Dunmow Art Group. Recently, she has been organising many of the classes.  She is willing to try different mediums and styles and encourages others to do the same. This portrait is just one example and will be available to view at the exhibition.

One Week To Go

Just one week until the Dunmow Art Group Exhibition.

After having to spend so much time looking at the same four walls, why not come along and choose some new artwork to brighten your living space? Talk to the artists find out about their inspiration and techniques.

Louise Man

Louise Man is a successful local artist.  She was selected as a ‘wildcard’ entrant on the 2019 and 2018 Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year television programme. Louise paints in both oils and watercolours, particularly landscapes and runs watercolour classes both at home and for Dunmow Art Group where she is an active member. Although family commitments mean Louise will not be at the show, she will have some artworks there, including this one of Doctor's Pond.

David Pasfield

David Pasfield has been a member of Dunmow Art Group for a number of years.  A popular artist, he has sold many works both watercolour and more recently acrylic and mixed-media. David teaches workshops and also runs Braintree Art Group. David will be in attendance throughout the show and is more than happy to share his experience. Below is his painting 'Autumn Border' This will be available at the Dunmow Art Group Exhibition on 23 April.
